I’m José, an award-winning Creative Director with an Art Direction background.
Born in Lisbon, based in Berlin.
I like beautiful things.
I have worked and lived in 3 different countries and was lucky to work with top agencies and brands both on a local, regional and global levels.
Those include agencies like DDB Berlin, BBDO Proximity Spain, Ogilvy Spain, Jung von Matt Hamburg, Lowe Lisbon and clients like Volkswagen, Sony, Kia, Hyundai, Mercedes, Panasonic, Audi, Skoda, to name but a few.
Currently, I work at Innocean’s European Creative Hub in Berlin, where I create and lead european and global work for brands like Kia, Hyundai and Sony.
Throughout my career, I've won more than 70 local and international awards, including Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, Clio, Epica, New York Festivals, etc.
My work is part of the permanent collection of the Poster House Museum in New York.
I'm also ranked #9 Art Director in the world by advertising magazine Lürzer's Archive for the last 3 years (as of 2020).
